Description
VoiceAnalyzer is a browser-based HTML5 audio app built for voice professionals who want studio-grade insight without installing software or setting up a server. Just open the single HTML file, drop in a recording, and get a complete, easy-to-read analysis of how that audio actually sounds — and exactly what to fix.
Designed for podcasters, voice actors, audiobook narrators, coaches and content creators, it turns technical measurements into clear guidance. Instead of guessing why a take sounds quiet, harsh or boomy, you get precise numbers, visual feedback and practical repair steps you can apply in any DAW.
Professional measurements, explained in plain language
The app covers the measurements that matter for publish-ready voice: integrated loudness using the ITU-R BS.1770 standard, true-peak levels with oversampling, loudness range, signal-to-noise ratio, dynamic range and sample-accurate clipping detection. Room acoustics are covered too, with decay analysis, clarity figures and room-type classification, alongside octave-band EQ views and spectral checks that reveal problems such as proximity buildup, boxiness and sibilance.
Its spectrum and spectrogram views show frequency content across time, while the waveform view keeps everything anchored to the recording itself. Together, they make it simple to spot muddy lows, harsh highs, inconsistent levels and noisy sections at a glance.
From diagnosis to a better recording
Where many analysers stop at numbers, VoiceAnalyzer goes further with an issues-and-fixes report. Each detected problem comes with a plain-English explanation and specific correction values — for example, how much to boost or cut at a given frequency — plus workflow guidance for popular audio editors. That makes it useful both for checking a finished deliverable and for learning what to improve in the next session.
Shape the sound with EQ and limiting
A built-in 8-band parametric EQ gives you a high-pass filter, six bell bands and a low-pass filter, so you can tame room tone, clean up low-end rumble and add presence where a voice needs it. The peak limiter then protects the final file from clipping, with adjustable ceiling and threshold controls tuned for voice work. Once you are happy, export the processed audio as a 16-bit WAV file, rendered faster than real time.
Simple, private and portable
Because the whole app runs locally in the browser as one dependency-free HTML file, there is no upload, no subscription and no complicated setup. It works offline after the first load, keeps your audio on your own device, and is ready whenever you need a quick loudness check, a pre-publish quality pass or a detailed review of a client deliverable.
Whether you are preparing a podcast episode, checking an audiobook chapter, reviewing voiceover takes or coaching a student, VoiceAnalyzer gives you the confidence that your audio meets professional loudness, peak and clarity standards before it reaches listeners.
