Description
Reclaim is a self-hosted lost and found management system built for hotels, resorts, airports, shopping malls, universities, hospitals, gyms, stadiums and other busy venues. It replaces paper logbooks and scattered spreadsheets with one organised workspace where staff can log, track and return lost property quickly and reliably.
Found items can be registered in seconds with a photo, category, location, storage shelf and notes. Guests can report a loss through a public form without an account, search for handed-in items, and follow the progress of their report. Smart matching compares new reports with items already in storage, helping teams spot likely owners sooner and reduce the time items sit unclaimed.
Returns are handled with care and a clear audit trail. Staff can verify ownership, record a pickup code, capture a digital signature and issue a printable PDF receipt. The system also supports QR labels for stored items, a storage map, chain-of-custody logging, disposal tracking for unclaimed property, and branded reports that show return rates and lost-property trends.
Built with PHP 8 and MySQL, Reclaim runs on most standard web hosting with a guided web installer, clean modern Bootstrap 5 interface, role-based access, and responsive design for desktop and mobile use. It is ideal for front-desk teams, lost-and-found coordinators, venue managers and security staff who need a fast, professional way to reunite people with their belongings.
