Description
Artistcamp is a complete, ready-to-launch music marketplace platform built in the style of Bandcamp, designed for independent artists, labels, and creators who want to sell music directly to their fans. Instead of giving a large share of every sale to a third-party store, you can run your own storefront, build your own audience, and keep full control over pricing, branding, and the fan experience.
Built with a modern React and TypeScript frontend and a Laravel API backend, Artistcamp gives you a fast, responsive marketplace where listeners can discover new music, follow their favourite artists, stream tracks, and buy albums or individual songs with a smooth cart and checkout flow. Stripe Checkout is supported, with webhook confirmation, and a demo checkout mode lets you test the full buying journey before you connect live payment keys.
Discover, stream, and buy music
The public homepage showcases featured releases, trending music, newest uploads, and charts, so visitors can start exploring straight away. A powerful search covers artists, releases, tracks, genres, and tags, while artist pages and release pages present cover art, bios, follower counts, and comments in a clean, fan-friendly layout. A persistent audio player with a waveform-style progress bar and click-to-seek control keeps music playing as fans browse the store.
Artist storefronts and dashboards
Every artist gets a dedicated storefront with their cover image, avatar, bio, releases, and follower count. From their own dashboard, artists can upload multi-track releases, edit track details such as price, genre, tags, BPM, ISRC, lyrics, and credits, manage their storefront, and track sales and analytics. Listeners, meanwhile, can build a personal fan library of purchases, downloads, orders, and favourite releases.
Admin control, moderation, and branding
Administrators get a clear overview of earnings, users, comments, and releases, with tools to moderate comments, remove unsuitable releases, and set revenue-share rules — including a default artist percentage and per-artist overrides, plus monthly earnings summaries for payouts. Site branding can be customised with your own name, logo, and primary colour, and the interface supports automatic or manual light and dark modes.
Easy setup for a real music business
Artistcamp includes a web installer for empty databases and an optional demo mode that pre-populates artists, listeners, releases, artwork, and audio, so you can evaluate the platform quickly. It also includes Google login hooks, a responsive mobile-friendly header, essential pages such as account settings and password changes, and documentation to help you get installed and configured. Whether you are launching an independent music marketplace, a creator audio store, a label shop, or a white-label music SaaS, Artistcamp provides a strong, flexible foundation to start selling music online.
